Richard Freeland
Hi! Glad to meet you. I'm a registered landscape architect in Georgia, specializing in sustainable land planning, garden design, and garden writing. I've published articles on the web as well as for specialized newsletters.
Other interests - song and fiction writing, boating, tennis, fly fishing, and travel. I especially like to take my family to Jekyll Island, Georgia.
And, oh yeah - anchoring my boat in a secluded cove on Lake Lanier, lounging back with a cool margarita, and watching the day go by. In fact, if it includes water and a boat, you'll likely find me there - or somewhere on Jekyll Island.
Interested in gardening, landscape design, garden travel, or ideas for your landscape? Drop in at my FYI Landscape Design Ideas site for tips on designing, building and maintaining your garden paradise.
At the end of a long day, or on vacation, do you like to curl up with a good book? Doe's your taste turn to horror, fantasy or thriller fiction? If you've answered "yes" to either of the above, head over to DragonLyre, my writing and publishing website. You'll find information on my latest published fiction, formatted for your favorite electronic reading device; upcoming stories and novels; and all sorts of info on self-publishing and electronic publishing.
Glad you came to Suite101. Hope you enjoy my writing. And, while your here, check out the work of my fellow word-smiths.
Kindest regards,
Richard
